Confidentiality

All staff at the Practice sign a Confidentiality Agreement that explicitly makes clear their duties in relation to personal health information and the consequences of breaching that duty. The only reason why we might want to consider passing on confidential information without your permission would be to protect either you or someone else from serious harm. In this situation, we would always try to discuss this with you first.

Please be aware that your information will be accessed by non-clinical Practice staff in order to perform tasks enabling the functioning of the Practice and allow us to provide you with medical services. This includes tasks such as typing referral letters, scanning clinical letters and handling medical legal and insurance reports.

If you have any worries or queries about confidentiality, please ask a member of staff.
